This summer, human rights and religious studies major Eva Fajardo interned at a public defense office that provides legal representation to clients near the Texas-Mexico border. Her internship was supported by a $5,000 grant from the Pozen Center's Human Rights Internship program.
(Apply by October 27 for a Summer 2025 internship.)
From Texas, Eva used the Pozen Center's Instagram page to introduce herself and explain the mission of the organization where she worked. In August she made a video post giving viewers a peek at a "day in the life" of her internship experience.
In September, after completing her internship, Fajardo made another video post, this one reflecting on what she'd learned.
