Morris Tidball-Binz is a physician who specializes in forensic science, human rights, and humanitarian action. He has contributed to the development and worldwide promotion of forensic science applied to human rights documentation and to humanitarian action. In April 2021 he was appointed the United Nations Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary, or arbitrary executions.

He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor in Forensic Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences of Monash University, Australia; Visiting Professor in forensic medicine with the Universities of Coimbra, Portugal and of Milan, Italy and, since April 2024 a Visiting Senior Research Associate at the Pozen Center.
